Breakfast Creek Hotel Haunted Site - The Breakfast Creek Hotel

Old Flour Mill

This grand old building was built as a flour mill in 1902. About 3000 bags of wheat were stored at the site with the grain coming from all over the place from the Darling Downs. The mill turned out 35-40 tons of flour a week.

Since at least the 1940's there have been stories that it is haunted by a figure apparently covered in flour walking the lower level.

Tour experience from this Haunted Site...

"I stayed behind as the rest of the group got back onto the bus. I really wanted to see something so I walked by myself down right to the back. I turned to look in one of the shop windows and saw the reflection of a man standing behind me. I turned around quickly, freaking out, but there was nobody there."
